This beautiful vintage Seiko tank 2220-3030 from 1975 is simply one of the most stylish vintage tank style watches we have had the privelege to offer here at Stonebridge watches.
The highlight is the stunning dial which has a gentle linen design as shown in the photo below in greater detail. Seiko is famous for building quality movements and this is no exception, powered by a 24 jewelled high frequency (28,800 BPH) and a power reserve of approximately 36 hours when fully hand wound.
It's slim profile would naturally suit an everyday office watch or for more formal occasions. It has more than a ''knowing nod'' to a Cartier tank and to find one in this outstanding condition is becoming increasingly difficult. Many of these dials show considerable age or ''spotting'' however this is excellent and we feel it would be a challenge to find another with a similar grading.
The watch has been paired with a quality leather strap, which unlike many new straps is very soft and supple and very comfortable to wear from day one. It includes a Seiko branded silver buckle to complete the look.
To conclude this edition is becoming highly collectable and therefore we recommend taking this opportunity to own a very special watch in superb condition.
