STONEBRIDGE WATCHES SAYS...
The Champion is a vintage line of watches produced by Seiko, a renowned Japanese watch manufacturer. Introduced in the 1960s, the series is celebrated for its blend of precision, reliability, and aesthetic appeal. Powered by mechanical movements they are known for their accuracy and robustness. A hallmark of Seikos engineering prowess during that era.
The Seiko Champion series played a significant role in establishing Seikos reputation for producing high-quality timepieces. These watches are now considered collectible items, valued by enthusiasts for their historical importance and craftsmanship.
They feature a classic and elegant design, suitable for both casual and formal wear. The dials are simple, with clean lines and minimalistic markers, contributing to a timeless look. Cases are made from stainless steel, providing durability and a sleek appearance.
The Seiko Champion remains a testament to Seikos legacy in watchmaking, combining traditional craftsmanship with a timeless design that continues to appeal to watch enthusiasts and collectors worldwide.
At 36mm it is a very comfortable size and due to it's case design wears larger at a modern day 38mm. A very handsome watch and whilst from a different era it remains a classic without looking ''old fashioned''. This model on sale here at Stonebridge Watches is in exceptional condition for a watch that is 60 years old and in our opinion it would be difficult to find another in a similar condition.
