The Baume & Mercier Hampton 65341 is a distinguished men's chronograph watch, celebrated for its rectangular case and refined design. Introduced in the early 2000s this is now a much sought after piece and we are pleased to be able to offer this in excellent condition and complete with a Baume & Mercier presentation box.
It's size lends itself to almost any size wrist and because of its case shape it wraps comfortably for all day wear. This style of watch is now very much in vogue and prices have risen over the last 6 months. Therefore priced at £475 this is a very attractive proposition. We have noted prices up to seven hundred pounds for a similar graded 65341.
The Ostrich strap and buckle are original and it is only the strap that shows a little wear, usurprisingly for a watch over 20 years old, however it remains very usable and wear is only noticable on the reverse of the strap. The overall condition is in very good to excellent and is quite difficult to find in this grading.
Baume & Mercier remain slightly under the radar but prices are starting to rise as many watch collector's are now focusing their attention towards this brand (much like Frederique Constant for example). It is not difficult to see why, this watch exudes class and Swiss made smaller chronographs are hard to come by. Powered by a very reliable quartz movement for everyday fuss free wear. A nice quality ''extra'' with this movement is the ''quick set hour capability''.
